Unleash your child's imagination in our exciting 6-Week Pottery Workshop, designed for kids aged 5 to 12. Led by artist Demetria Chappo, this hands-on class introduces young creators to both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques.
Throughout the course, children will explore the magic of clay, learning to shape and sculpt with their hands. They’ll create one-of-a-kind pottery pieces while developing fine motor skills, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment. Demetria’s playful and encouraging teaching style ensures that every child enjoys a positive and inspiring experience.
This class is the perfect opportunity for your child to dive into the world of pottery, express their creativity, and make new friends—all while having fun!
What to Expect:
Date & Time: Tuesdays, 4 PM – 5:30 PM, starting January 14th until February 18th.
Ages: 5 and up; all ages welcome and will receive age-appropriate guidance

Payment & Cancellation Policy:
Full payment is required prior to the event to secure your spot.
If you need to cancel, we offer a credit valid for 6 months, provided cancellation is made in writing at least one week before the workshop.
Workshops may be rescheduled once within this 6-month period for a $20 re-booking fee.
Please note that we do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including after the class begins.
In the event of low enrollment, we reserve the right to cancel the class one week before the scheduled start date.

About the Instructor:
Demetria Chappo
Demetria Chappo creates hand-sculpted home objects and sculptures, focusing on intricate surface details, organic and architectural forms, and universal symbolism. Her work draws inspiration from nature, science, water, and the beauty of everyday objects, with patterns and textures designed to engage the senses and infuse spaces with positive energy.
Demetria's pieces are sold across the US and internationally. Her work has been featured in notable publications, including New York Magazine, Architectural Digest, and Martha Stewart Weddings. She is also the co-founder of the Brooklyn Clay Tour, a city-wide celebration of ceramics that includes exhibitions, events, and shows.
