CUP CARVING
WORKSHOP

Experience the traditional art of clay carving in our 1.5‑hour workshop designed especially for beginners. Learn to transform a solid block of clay into your very own kurinuki cup using a variety of carving tools in a relaxed, supportive environment. Once your cup is crafted, we’ll glaze and fire it, and it will be ready for pickup 2–3 weeks later.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
Get hands-on with clay as you handbuild your own carved cup, learning techniques to shape your pieces with care and precision. 

OPTIONAL: GLAZE YOUR PIECES

• After the initial session, you have the option to come back for a follow‑up workshop where we’ll guide you through selecting and applying the perfect glaze to complete your creations before the final glaze firing. 

Price for the workshop: $95

• Duration: Approximately 1.5 hour

• Date: To be determined

• Level: Absolute beginner to intermediate

• Tools, aprons, and towels provided

• Limited to 12 participants per workshop
